Practice Schedule and Announcements for 3/25/19 – 3/31/19

This week the meet is in Lawrence, starting at 3:30pm. It’s a JV & Varsity meet so everyone will be swimming/diving. The girls will be released to attend first lunch. There will be two busses to the meet. The busses will depart SMS at 12:30. All team members must ride the team busses to the meet and back to SMS.

Friday, there is no school. There will be morning practice. See the details below.

Team Swim Caps

This year’s team caps should arrive this week. Like the suits, they will be delivered to practice.

Meet Images on Shutterfly

The team Shutterfly site has been set up for this year and images from the first meet have been posted. (Thanks, Jane!).

We can always use more photos. If you’re willing to take pictures at meets and other team events, please do so. While it’s great to have quality images of the competition, it’s also fun to have candid smartphone pictures of parents, the swimmers and divers cheering and supporting each other, the coaches, and even at team dinners.

Photos are available for any team member to view or download. They’ll be used on the website. And for the slideshow at the banquet. You can even order prints and photo-books direct from Shutterfly.

Access to the team Shutterfly site is restricted to keep the general public from viewing the images. See the weekly team email for login information.

Volunteers Still Needed

There’s still a few open volunteer opportunities assisting with Team Dinners and the Team Banquet. Please sign-up and fill these remaining openings.

  • Monday 3/25 – Green Group 2:55-4:15, Gold Group 3:00-5:30pm
  • Tuesday 3/26 – Green Group 2:55-4:15, Gold Group 3:00-5:30pm
  • Wednesday 3/27 – Green Group 2:55-4:15, Gold Group 3:00-5:30pm
  • Thursday 3/28 – JV & Varsity Meet at Lawrence High. Meet starts at 3:30pm. Busses will depart SMS at 12:30.
  • Friday 3/29 – NO SCHOOL. Swimmers Practice 8:00-10:00am
  • Saturday 3/30 – 7:00am – 9:00am. Bagel Saturday!

Divers

  • Monday 3/18 – 3:00-5:00pm
  • Tuesday 3/19 – 3:00-5:00pm
  • Wednesday 3/20 – 3:00-5:00pm
