Congratulations to the 2022 State Team:

200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay & 400 Free Relay have all qualified!

Kansas 6A State Swim & Dive Championships will take place at SMSDAC May 20-21.  Please mark your calendars and come out to cheer on the Raiders!

 

Important Dates:

Thursday, 5/12 (7:00 pm) -Team Banquet

Location: SMS Cafeteria.  This year the team will host a dessert bar in celebration of our swimmers and divers!  Join us as each team member is recognized by their coaches.  The night will also include introduction of the state team, senior speeches & naming of the 2023 team captains.

Practice Schedule (State Team Only): 5/09/22 

  • Monday, 5/9: 3:00 – 5:00 pm SMS
  • Tuesday, 5/10: 3:00 – 5:00 pm SMS
  • Wednesday, 5/11: 3:00 – 5:00 pm SMS
  • Thursday, 5/12: 3:00 – 5:00 pm SMS (Banquet 7:00 pm)
  • Friday, 5/13: 3:00 – 5:00 pm SMS
  • Saturday, 5/14: 7:30 – 9:30 SMS

Booster Club Positions:

The current booster club board will remain in place for the 2023 season, and will then be graduating on.  Please consider shadowing the booster club next year so the team experiences a seamless transition for the girls.  Positions include President, Treasurer & Communications/Volunteer Coordinator.  Contact Meg Guthrie with interest: megguth@aol.com
